Job summary

Milestone Systems is looking for a Software Engineer to drive the integration between their VLM-as-a-service platform and Milestone XProtect. Responsibilities include developing backend APIs, leading integration projects, and providing Level 2 support. The ideal candidate should have strong .NET / C# skills, experience in cloud environments, and a background in video management systems. The position offers flexible working arrangements and various employee benefits including training and company events.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong .NET / C# production experience.
• Experience working in Agile environments with a focus on continuous delivery.
• Track record of delivering production software end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of VMS integration and Smart Client workflows.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python.
• Provide Level 2 support and technical documentation.

Skills

Proficiency in .NET / C#

Full-stack experience with Python

Cloud experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Understanding of authentication concepts

Knowledge of video management systems

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
