Job summary

Aeven A/S in Copenhagen is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to guide clients through cloud transformations and design robust architectures for hybrid and public environments.

You will lead workshops, align cloud strategies with business goals, and collaborate with stakeholders across levels to deliver tailored solutions. Strong consulting background and cloud expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive blend of consulting and project delivery with deep technical skill.
• Experience in enterprise architecture, design, and implementation, including IT security, governance, automation and orchestration and CI/CD DevOps practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure cloud platform (including virtualization, network, storage, database and middleware).
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS and SaaS across cloud environments.
• Scripting experience and managing cloud network architectures.

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will:

• Guide customers through their cloud journey, offering expert advice to align cloud technology with their strategic goals.
• Foster customers’ adoption of cloud technology through inspirational and technical workshops, crafting tailored solutions and providing strategic leadership.
• Design and implement robust cloud architectures for enterprise customers, focusing on hybrid/public environments and best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, understanding their needs and delivering tailored cloud solutions.
• Participate in the hands‑on implementation of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with the customer’s technology strategy and business goals.
• Contribute to our team by sharing experiences and knowledge across projects.

Your qualifications:

• Possess a strong blend of consulting, project delivery skills and a profound technical skill.
• Extensive knowledge in enterprise architecture, design and implementation, as well as IT security, governance, automation and orchestration and CI/CD DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Public Cloud (Azure) is preferred, including capabilities in virtualization, network, storage, database and middleware solutions in the cloud environment.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
• Experience in scripting and managing cloud network architectures.
• Experience within the Cloud Adoption Framework and the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected framework.
• Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.
• Located within commuting distance to either Århus or Ballerup.
