Job summary

Novo Nordisk seeks a Senior Clinical Supply Manager to lead global clinical supply strategies across trials, ensuring delivery from study start-up to close-out. You will partner with cross-functional teams, CROs, CMOs, and regulatory groups to drive delivery excellence and risk mitigation.

Your new role

As Senior Clinical Supply Manager, you will take ownership of clinical supply strategies across global trials, ensuring delivery excellence from study start-up through to close-out. You will act as a trusted partner within cross-functional trial teams, balancing operational execution with strategic oversight to secure uninterrupted supply to patients.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and executing robust clinical supply strategies across complex, global trials to ensure timely and compliant delivery
  • Acting as the Clinical Supplies representative in Trial Teams, timelines, and key supply decisions
  • Driving operational excellence by monitoring trial performance, supply KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing and overseeing external partners such as CROs and CMOs, ensuring quality deliverables and strong collaboration
  • Proactively identifying risks and leading mitigation actions to maintain uninterrupted supply and high-quality trial execution
Your new department

You will join Supply Chain Planning (SCP), an integral part of CMC Clinical Supplies at Novo Nordisk. The department plays a vital role in ensuring that clinical trial products are available globally at the right time, quality, and quantity. Working at the intersection of supply chain management and regulatory requirements, SCP supports the full clinical development lifecycle. The environment is highly collaborative, offering strong exposure across functions and opportunities to contribute to the development of future treatments.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you bring strong expertise in clinical trial supply combined with a proactive and structured mindset. You are comfortable working in complex, global environments and skilled at building relationships across functions. We expect you to have:

  • A MSc in Pharmacy or a related scientific/technical discipline, along with solid experience in clinical trial supply within pharma or biotech
  • Proven experience supporting global clinical trials across multiple phases, from start-up to close-out
  • Strong knowledge of clinical development processes, ICH-GCP, and GMP/GDP requirements
  • Experience with supply forecasting, IRT systems, packaging and labelling, and vendor management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority

What we offer

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from DKK 651,000 to 956,900, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate's skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
