Uber is seeking an Engineering Manager II, Backend for the Stateful Platform to lead a team that builds infrastructure for deploying and running stateful storage engines across global regions. Our stack emphasizes Go services, high availability, automation, and scalable design.

You will coach engineers, drive roadmap execution, recruit top talent, and help define the engineering culture that shapes Uber Infrastructure's Stateful Platform, collaborating with partner teams in multiple cities

Competenze

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of direct people management, mentoring junior and senior engineers.
• BS, MS or PhD degree in computer science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in designing and building world-class software.
