Unity Technologies ApS is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build the integrations that move money between Workday, NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce and related finance platforms. You will write TypeScript services on GCP, design APIs and event‑driven pipelines, and own them in production.

Qualifications

• Backend services built and run in production with scalable, reliable microservices.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for service-layer development and REST design.
• Experience integrating ERP/CRM/b billing or finance platforms and data mapping.
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, queues, and observability; tests as part of delivery.
• Optional: Workday data model knowledge; MuleSoft or other iPaaS experience.
• XML, XSLT and JSON transformation experience; GCP familiarity and CI/CD with Kubernetes.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and operate backend services connecting Workday with upstream and downstream systems.
• Integrate NetSuite, Zuora, Salesforce, AP and tax platforms and payment providers.
• Create event-driven data pipelines on GCP with retry, idempotency and dead-letter handling.
• Turn partially defined requirements into concrete designs or deliverables.
• Own reconciliation, data integrity, failure visibility, and recoverability during close periods.
• Set integration standards across the team: contracts, error handling, observability, runbooks, and docs.
