Epico in the Greater Copenhagen Area is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Solution / Technical Lead to combine hands-on backend development with technical leadership and solution architecture.
You will work closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders and IT security to ensure scalable, secure and compliant Azure solutions. This is a long-term consultant assignment starting 1 October 2026 in Søborg, Denmark, with a workload of 40 hours per week.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Solution / Technical Lead for a long-term assignment in the Greater Copenhagen Area.
In this role, you will combine hands-on backend development with technical leadership and solution architecture. You will work closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders and IT security to ensure scalable, secure and compliant Azure solutions.
Lead the technical direction and architecture for a product area.
Develop new backend solutions and integrations.
Define coding standards, solution patterns and technical best practices.
Perform code reviews and ensure high technical quality.
Ensure that development follows CI/CD principles and automated testing practices.
Align solution architecture with enterprise standards and overall architecture strategy.
Take responsibility for the technical aspects of product and release planning.
Evaluate different architectural approaches and set technical direction.
Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Coordinate with Business Owners, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, IT Security and other stakeholders.
Delegate technical responsibilities within the development team.
Ensure compliance requirements are met in an effective and structured way.
Support a collaborative and healthy working environment within the team.
Preferably 8+ years of software development experience, including several years in a technical lead or similar role.
Strong experience with C#/.NET or an equivalent enterprise Azure backend technology stack.
Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, asynchronous integrations and distributed systems.
Experience with Azure services such as:
Azure App Service
Azure Functions
API Management
Service Bus / Event Grid
Azure Storage / ADLS
Key Vault
Application Insights / Azure Monitor
Entra ID
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization, including OAuth2, OIDC, MSAL and RBAC.
Experience with API security and API versioning.
Experience integrating with Databricks APIs.
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps or GitHub.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
Strong understanding of logging, monitoring, resilience, performance and secure coding.
Experience with automated testing and modern development practices.
Good stakeholder management skills and experience working across both business and technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree is beneficial.
Experience from regulated environments.
Understanding of GxP software delivery and evidence generation.
Experience working in large enterprise environments with defined architecture and security standards.
