Job summary

Twoday A/S, based in Copenhagen, seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to transform a large-scale DevOps platform into a modern AI-assisted engineering setup. This on-site role partners with public-sector clients and internal architects to translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions.

You will design cloud-native solutions on Azure, implement APIs and event-driven patterns, and lead code reviews while driving infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Developer.
• Hands-on C# and .NET with Azure.
• Cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with APIs and distributed/event-driven systems.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Bicep.
• Knowledge of security principles incl. Zero Trust.
• Fluent Danish and proficient English.
• Willingness to work on-site in Copenhagen.

Hands‑on Solution Architect – Azure and .NET

Would you like to combine solution architecture with hands‑on development of business‑critical public‑sector solutions?

Twoday is looking for an experienced Solution Architect who can turn architectural principles into working solutions. You will combine responsibility for solution design with practical implementation in C#, .NET and Microsoft Azure.

You will be permanently employed by Twoday and work full‑time on‑site with our customer in Copenhagen.

Your role

You will join the customer’s architecture function and work closely with development teams, product owners, project managers and other architects. You will translate business requirements and target architecture into secure, scalable and reusable solutions – and contribute directly to bringing them to life.

Your tasks will include:

• Designing cloud‑native solutions and shared platforms in Microsoft Azure
• Designing APIs, integrations and event‑driven solutions
• Developing prototypes, accelerators and reusable components
• Contributing directly to implementation in C# and .NET
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or Terraform
• Defining architecture principles, standards and technical guidelines
• Reviewing code and supporting technical decisions within development teams
• Modernising legacy applications and integrating existing systems
• Incorporating security, governance and compliance into solution designs
• Documenting architectural decisions and communicating them clearly

Your background

We expect you to have:

• Solid experience as a Solution Architect, Software Architect or Lead Developer
• Current hands‑on experience with C# and .NET
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud‑native development
• Experience with APIs, integrations and distributed or event‑driven systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of security principles such as Zero Trust and least privilege
• The ability to move confidently between architecture, code and implementation
• Experience from complex organisations, preferably within the public sector
• Completely fluent spoken and written Danish
• Professional proficiency in English
• The ability and willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Copenhagen
