Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced senior cloud developer to design and automate AWS-based infrastructure. You will implement solutions with Python, AWS CDK and TypeScript, and translate requirements into scalable, compliant cloud services.

You will define technical requirements, build preventive controls with Service Control Policies, and develop automated remediation and notification workflows. The role requires independent work, strong English communication, and collaboration with solution

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced experience with AWS.
• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Advanced experience with AWS CDK.
• Advanced development skills in TypeScript.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure automation.
• Ability to work independently in a senior development role.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Experience with AWS Organizations and Service Control Policies (nice to have).
• Experience with automated compliance and remediation solutions (nice to have).
• Knowledge of cloud governance, security controls or regulated environments (nice to have).
• Experience developing notification and approval workflows (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate cloud infrastructure solutions in AWS.
• Build solutions using Python, AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Define and implement technical requirements for qualified AWS services.
• Develop controls that keep AWS resources in a compliant and qualified state.
• Implement preventive controls using AWS Service Control Policies.
• Create automated remediation mechanisms when preventive controls cannot be used.
• Develop grace-period and notification functions before automated remediation is performed.
• Work closely with solution managers and other technical stakeholders.
• Support the development of reliable and maintainable cloud services.
