Job summary

Podimo Aps is hiring a Senior Android engineer to ship native experiences for millions of listeners. You will work in Membership, a cross-functional group across Android, iOS, Web, Backend and QA, focusing on auth, paywalls, subscriptions, and payments using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

You’ll leverage AI tooling as a primary engine, automate repetitive work, and collaborate with product and design teams. You will write tests, gate features behind toggles, and help shape Android tooling and

Qualifications

• Solid Android (Kotlin) experience.
• Strong knowledge of Android lifecycle (Activities, Fragments, Services).
• Experience with Jetpack Compose UI.
• Shipped real Android features or significant contributions.
• Experience using AI coding tools to build/test/ automate.
• Understands value of unit tests, feature toggles, and A/B testing.
• Strong English for code, comments and communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve features in the Membership domain: auth, paywalls, subscriptions, billing and payments.
• Use AI coding tools as a primary automation tool to move outcomes, not volume.
• Participate in product and design discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Write unit tests, gate features behind toggles, and ship safely with A/B tests.
• Contribute to Android tooling and agentic workflows across the organization.
• Review and verify AI-generated code, reading diffs and ensuring safe ship.
