Job summary

Lunar Denmark is seeking an Android Engineer to join Squad Pace in Aarhus, helping build the app users rely on to manage their money daily. You’ll contribute to a modern Kotlin stack, collaborate closely with Design, and translate UI from the Matter design system into polished, fast experiences across the Nordics.

You’ll work with Android, iOS, Backend, Web, Product, Design, and Data teams, moving quickly and embracing AI-driven DevOps initiatives to improve shipping and quality.

Qualifications

• Passion for Android and crafting beautiful, intuitive UI.
• Some Android engineering experience; seniority not required.
• Solid Kotlin fundamentals with interest in Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication.
• Drive to grow and own your work; welcome feedback.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features in a Jetpack Compose app from commit to production.
• Craft UI in collaboration with Design using Lunar’s Matter system across Nordic languages.
• Leverage a modern Kotlin stack: Coroutines & Flow, Hilt, Room, Retrofit within MVVM architecture.
• Work daily with iOS, Backend, Web, Product, Design, and Data teams.
• Move fast, iterate, and learn from what doesn’t work while maintaining progress.
• Explore AI-driven approaches to writing and shipping code within the team.
