Job summary

Hyperion Quantitative Strategies is seeking a senior platform engineer who owns the full production stack, from cloud architecture to live trading systems. You will work across Kubernetes, data pipelines and databases, owning reliability and incident response for a high‑stakes live book.

Copenhagen or CET‑time zone based candidates are preferred, with strong AI‑native development practices. The role sits within Hyperion’s engineering team under the Bifrost Studios umbrella, and you will report

Qualifications

• Experience running production infrastructure and data platforms where reliability mattered.
• Strong track record building automated pipelines from external data sources.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, GCP and Terraform in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and Java; familiarity with other scripting languages is a plus.
• Solid relational DB skills: design, performance, operations, high availability.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the platform across cloud architecture, data pipelines and live-system ownership.
• Design, run and improve production infrastructure and live trading components.
• Maintain deployment, monitoring, alerting and incident response for live systems.
• Manage data stores and analytics layers with scalable schemas and performance.
