Job summary

Agilent Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior AI & Scientific Workflow Automation Engineer to shape and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions across an R&D organization developing regulated IVD instruments and reagents for cancer diagnostics.

You will partner with scientists, domain experts and project teams to translate workflow challenges into scalable, reusable automation assets that strengthen quality, efficiency, consistency, and compliance within regulated scientific workflows.

Qualifications

• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows for regulated scientific processes.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and enterprise tools.
• Apply guardrails and human-in-the-loop controls to ensure safe AI use.

Responsibilities

• Partner with scientists to understand workflows, data flows, and documentation needs.
• Lead automation initiatives from concept to deployment with clear deliverables and risks.
