Job summary

atNorth is a leading Nordic data center company seeking a Security Automation & Delivery Specialist to join our Security team. You will drive automation, process improvement, and reporting to enhance information security and compliance across our Nordic sites.

Security Automation Specialist at atNorth

We are looking for a Security Automation & Delivery Specialist to join our Security team. In this role, you will help transform the way information security and compliance activities are managed across atNorth.

You will identify opportunities to simplify and standardize processes, deliver automation and process improvement initiatives, and leverage business intelligence, reporting tools, and AI technologies to increase efficiency, visibility, and decision‑making capabilities.

This position combines information security and compliance expertise with strong skills in automation, reporting, project delivery, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Security Process Improvement & Automation

• Simplify, standardize, and optimize security and compliance processes.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Support and improve processes related to:
  • ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance
  • Audit and certification readiness
  • Security questionnaires
  • Risk assessments and action tracking
  • Evidence collection and documentation
  • Security reporting and approval workflows
• Implement and integrate solutions using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Vanta, APIs, and other relevant platforms.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Automate data collection and reporting across security, compliance, risk, and operational systems.
• Provide management insights on compliance performance, audit readiness, risk remediation, project progress, and process efficiency.

Project Delivery & AI

• Lead or coordinate automation, tooling, reporting, and process improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Define scope, requirements, milestones, and success measures.
• Identify practical uses for AI within security and compliance workflows.
• Evaluate AI solutions with a focus on security, confidentiality, data protection, accuracy, and business value.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience combining information security/compliance, process improvement, and automation.
• Experience working in data center environments or other regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of information security governance, risk management, controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2.
• Proven track record of simplifying processes and delivering automation initiatives.
• Experience managing projects from requirements gathering through implementation and handover.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Technical Experience

• Experience with workflow automation, integrations, and business process improvement.
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Vanta, GRC platforms, and APIs.
• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools.
• Understanding of data quality, security, traceability, and access management.
• Practical experience using AI, Copilots, LLMs, or automation platforms in business, security, or compliance environments.

Beneficial but not required:

• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar security certification
• SOC 2 or security assurance training
• Power BI or data analytics certification
• Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification
• Cloud, automation, workflow, or AI‑related certifications'
