Job summary

Saxo Bank is seeking a Security Architect for Application Security to shape security across software development and engineering practices at our headquarters in Denmark. You will partner with developers, architects, and platform engineers to embed security across the SDLC and enable secure delivery of resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of secure software development principles and application security concepts.
• Familiarity with OWASP, CWE, and secure-by-design practices.
• Knowledge of modern development practices, CI/CD pipelines, VCS, and software delivery processes.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support the integration of security into software development processes, platforms, and engineering practices.
• Perform application security reviews, threat modelling activities, and security assessments of new and existing solutions.
• Work with development teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities and design weaknesses.
• Contribute to the implementation, operation, and improvement of application security capabilities (SAST/DAST/SCA, API/Container security).
• Provide guidance on secure software design, secure coding practices, and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Define and maintain application security standards, guidelines, and reference architectures.
