Job summary

Trackunit is seeking an SRE to join our Europe-based team, focusing on daily operations and platform improvements. You’ll manage AWS/Kubernetes workloads, contribute to Terraform-driven changes, and participate in on-call incident response across a global SRE group.

You’ll collaborate with developers across our scalable cloud platform while growing into larger design work. A flexible, remote-friendly Denmark-wide setup supports hybrid work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience running workloads on AWS.
• Basic knowledge with Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge about infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
• Comfortable with Git, Linux and Windows.
• Clear written communication — a lot of our work happens in tickets, PRs, and docs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve the platform. Monitoring, alerting, capacity, cost, and the steady stream of small improvements that keep a large AWS and Kubernetes estate healthy.
• Work in code, not consoles. Infrastructure changes go through Terraform and Helm, reviewed as pull requests and delivered through Atlantis and Argo CD.
• Keep the platform secure. Patching, vulnerability remediation, base image updates, and closing findings.
• Take part in incident response. You'll join our on‑call rotation (SRE team, business hours) and contribute to incidents and follow‑up work.
• Handle triage and requests from developer teams. Understanding what they need, unblocking them, and spotting when a repeated request could be automated.
