Job summary

Fortrea in Denmark is seeking a Site Budget & Contract Specialist to negotiate and manage site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and related contracts for our clinical trials, with coordination across Finland, Sweden and Norway in a remote-friendly setup.

You will collaborate with clinical study teams, legal and project management to ensure timely execution, adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and transparent contract tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (LLB, JD, BA, or BS) preferred; university-level law degree desirable.
• 2-4 years of contract negotiation experience in clinical research or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract tracking systems.
• Fluency in local language and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, negotiate, and manage site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and letters of indemnification.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.
• Track, update, and maintain contract status in systems with transparency.
• Elevate contractual issues to management as needed.
• Support internal review and approval of contracts before external routing.
• Collaborate with study teams, legal, and project management to ensure contract execution.
• Maintain electronic and paper contract files for accuracy.
• Assist in continuous improvement of department processes.
• Provide regular status updates to management and study teams.
