Job summary

Patiro seeks a Medical Assistant to join the pre-screening team, acting as the liaison between Patiro and potential clinical trial participants. You will collaborate with team members from around the world, so strong English speaking and writing skills are essential.

This is a flexible, part-time role with hourly pay. You will work from your own computer and mobile device, with a local number provided for calls and comprehensive training on our platform.

Qualifications

• Medical knowledge or related training is preferred.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work flexible hours (weekdays and weekends).
• Excellent phone communication and active listening abilities.
• Able to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Being fluent in multiple languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call patients from a predefined list and ask predefined questions to assess health profile for trial eligibility.
• Engage in active listening to confirm or clarify information from patients.
• Keep records of conversations in the patient portal in a clear, organized manner.
• Manage outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Handle ad hoc tasks, including translations of short texts or disease overviews.
