Job summary

Vestas is seeking an HSE Team Lead to manage a ~30-person external HSE team and ensure a strong safety culture across the Nordic countries. You will tie together safety efforts, develop competencies for projects, and share lessons learned to improve performance.

You will travel regularly to support specialists on sites, onboard new HSE professionals, and allocate resources in close collaboration with planning teams.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of safety on construction sites and ability to motivate employees remotely.
• Experience coordinating external consultants.
• Ability to translate complex safety procedures into engaging communication.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular 1:1 meetings with employees focusing on well-being and performance.
• Allocate the right HSE resources to construction projects in collaboration with the planning team.
• Onboard and support new HSE professionals in Vestas' systems, safety rules, and culture.
• Travel 60-80 days per year (typically 5 days at a time) to support specialists on projects.
