Job summary

Siemens Gamesa, part of Siemens Energy, is seeking a DevOps & Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate platform services that support product development, testing, validation, and deployment.

You will develop automation to improve reliability, scalability, and security, and build IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling. Collaboration with engineers and infra teams is key to boosting developer productivity and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE with automation focus.
• Strong automation tech stack: Ansible, PowerShell/PowerCLI, Python, Git, CI/CD tooling.
• Ability to design and maintain automation frameworks, deployment pipelines and APIs.
• Familiarity with VMware and enterprise platform technologies.
• Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, and system integration.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, incident management, and reliability practices.
• A proactive mindset with passion for automation and platform reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate platform services for product development, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Develop automation solutions to improve reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain IaC, automated deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and platform tooling.
• Develop integrations and automation using APIs and scripting.
• Enhance observability via monitoring, logging, dashboards, and analytics.
• Support virtualization and platform tech while enabling cloud modernization and future capabilities.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams, and infra specialists to boost productivity.
• Contribute to standardization, self-service capabilities, and continuous improvement.
