Job summary

Saxo Bank is seeking a Recon Owner for Cash and Open Exposure to strengthen ownership, governance, and reporting across reconciliations. You will monitor completeness and ensure results are reported with clear evidence for financial and regulatory purposes.

The role requires 3–5 years reconciliation experience, knowledge of financial products, data analysis, and the ability to drive automation in a tech-driven environment. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of financial products, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Strong English communication; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly reconciliation completeness reviews and link to GL.
• Prepare and distribute reports on findings and remediation.
• Follow up on aged reconciliation breaks daily/weekly.
• Assess impact of breaks on trading conditions and obtain sign-off.
• Work with stakeholders to incorporate new products into framework.
• Collaborate with IT/AI teams to improve processes and automation.
