Job summary

SnapReach Media in Randers, Denmark, is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our networks and servers. The role covers installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment, ensuring security, and providing user support.

The ideal candidate has a degree in CS or related field and hands-on experience with TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and Windows/Linux.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Proven experience in network administration or similar role.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing (BGP), VLANs, DNS/DHCP.
Experience with firewall configuration and VPN security.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install and configure network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement network security measures and access controls.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
Install OS updates and collaborate with IT staff for system operations.
