Job summary

FlexiRemote Solutions in Esbjerg, Denmark is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator to manage our network and server infrastructure. You will install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and both Windows Server and Linux systems, while providing frontline technical support to end users.

We are in search of a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's network and computer systems. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
• Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
• Perform regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
• Monitor system security and implement necessary updates to protect against potential threats
• Provide technical support to end-users for any network or system-related issues
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and network security principles
• Experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals
