Job summary

SummitLogic in Randers, Denmark, is seeking a Senior Network and Systems Administrator to manage and secure our IT infrastructure. You will design, implement, and maintain network and server environments, and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelors in IT, 5+ years in network or systems administration, and hands-on experience with Windows servers, AD, Exchange, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and security best practices.

Qualifications

• ≥5 years of experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and network services.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and backups.

The Senior Network and Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our companys computer networks and systems in Randers This role requires a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in network administration server management and system security The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Design configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls and VPNs
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Install and configure servers including operating systems applications and security patches
• Manage user accounts permissions email accounts and backups
• Ensure data integrity by implementing regular backups and disaster recovery plans
• Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements to make recommendations for improving our network infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols eg TCPIP hardware eg routers and services eg DNS
• Experience with server management in a Windows environment Active Directory Exchange Server
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Proven expertise in implementing security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

Salary The salary for this position is $1200 per month without accommodation

Location This position is based in Randers but may require occasional travel within the region
