Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking an Interface & Integration Manager to lead interface identification, maintain registers and coordinate cross-supplier activities across rail/infrastructure projects.

You will chair interface forums, ensure alignment with requirements, and manage changes through governance while upholding Hitachi's Code of Conduct. This role supports integration readiness and multi-system commissioning in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in interface management within multidisciplinary rail or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to translate dependencies into practical, testable criteria.
• Strong meeting control, action tracking and escalation skills.
• Resilience under stress during interface disputes and integration testing.
• Structured, collaborative working style.
• 7+ years in interface management and multi-supplier integration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interface management plan, interface register, ICDs, dependencies, assumptions and closure evidence.
• Coordinate interfaces between parties and systems.
• Chair interface meetings, track actions and escalate or sign off actions.
• Ensure interface changes are reflected in requirements, configuration, schedule and change governance.
• Support integration readiness reviews and cross-system commissioning scenarios.
• Apply Hitachi Code of Conduct and maintain ethical escalation and confidentiality.
• Lead interface identification, ICD/register control, cross-supplier alignment and escalation of issues.
• Functional authority for interface-management process and technical coordination.
