Job summary

Ferrosan Medical Devices Group seeks a Laboratory Specialist to bridge hands‑on lab work with system ownership of workflows and documentation in our R&D setting. You will contribute to experimental design, QA, and cross‑functional collaboration across the Biomaterials R&D group.

The role emphasizes structured work, own initiatives, and continuous improvement of lab processes. Danish and English fluency is required, with on‑site Søborg presence and hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a laboratory technician or technologist, or professional bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience from an R&D, medtech or regulated lab environment is valued.
• Proven ability to own workflows and systems independently.
• Experience with digital workflows and systems (SAP/QMS/LIMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct R&D feasibility studies and experiments; document results.
• Own and improve lab workflows, equipment qualification, calibration and servicing.
• Prepare protocols, reports and participate in project meetings and workshops.
• Support day‑to‑day operations and maintain laboratory systems and documentation.
