Job summary

Alipes ApS in Copenhagen is seeking a Quant Infrastructure Student to join our team close to the metal, building production‑grade ML infrastructure for automated trading. You’ll work with quantitative researchers and ML engineers on data processing pipelines, latency improvements and deployable tooling, with a flexible hybrid office setup and strong peer collaboration.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a technical BSc/MSc program in Denmark and eager to ship real systems in a fast‑growing fintech

Qualifications

• You don’t need years of experience, but you do need curiosity, strong fundamentals, and a willingness to build things that work.
• You are currently studying either a Bachelor's or Master's in Denmark.
• We’re looking for someone with: a scientific and inquisitive mindset, solid CS fundamentals (data structures & algorithms), strong Python skills around data preprocessing or pipeline building, interest in distributed systems or ML Ops, experience with datasets that don’t fit in memory, familiarity with at least one strongly typed language (C#, C/C++, Rust).
• Currently enrolled in a technical BSc/MSc program (CS, engineering, math, physics, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Help build and improve ML infrastructure powering our fully automated trading systems.
• Work with Python tooling for data processing and rapid model experimentation.
• Develop internal utilities to prototype, validate and deploy models.
• Improve latency, reproducibility and monitoring in deployment workflows.
