Job summary

Danfoss Nordborg is seeking a Quality Technician to safeguard product quality in BU Orbital & Gear Solutions. You will inspect incoming materials, perform sample checks, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve deviations, ensuring traceability in SAP.

Qualifications

• Completed skilled worker education in a technical or quality-related field.
• Experience with quality inspection and measurements in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate in English.
• Valid forklift certificate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Perform sample checks and measurements and document results for quality decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve deviations.
• Register inspections, deviations, and quality notifications in SAP for traceability.

As our Quality Technician in Nordborg, you play a critical role in protecting product quality in BU Orbital & Gear Solutions, where we produce hydraulic motors and steering units used in demanding applications worldwide.

Your work ensures that incoming materials meet our standards before they reach production. By identifying quality issues early, you help secure stable production, reliable products, and strong customer trust. Your contribution directly supports our commitment to safety, performance, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality requirements and support reliable production.

• Register inspections, deviations, and quality notifications in SAP to ensure traceability.
