Systematic Aarhus in Aarhus, Denmark, seeks a Project & People Manager to lead software deployment, training and technical support for Defence customers across the Nordics. You will manage multiple customer projects, deploy SitaWare and Iris suites, deliver training and provide support for military exercises.

Based in Aarhus, you will recruit, coach and develop your team, shape how we work, and collaborate with business development to expand engagement.

Lead software deployment, training and technical support projects that bring mission-critical software to Defence customers across the Nordics. Combine hands‑on project delivery with people management as you develop your team and help shape a growing department.

The job

As Project & People Manager in our Nordic Constellation, you will manage and lead multiple customer projects simultaneously. These projects involve deploying our SitaWare and Iris product suites into customers’ organisations, delivering training services, providing technical support for military exercises and helping customers get the most from our products.

• Ensure delivery to the agreed scope, schedule and quality standards while maintaining and developing long‑term customer relationships.
• Work closely with our business development team to expand customer engagement in new and established markets by shaping and scoping solutions, preparing estimates and writing commercial proposals.
• Take direct people and line management responsibility, including recruitment, employee development and retention.
• Together with your team, foster an engaging workplace where people enjoy coming to work.

You will regularly travel to customer locations across the Nordic countries.

Joining the team

Join Defence Services, Nordic, and help customers across Denmark and Scandinavia implement our SitaWare solutions. Based in Aarhus, you will join an experienced, highly skilled team of managers, solution architects, solution engineers and student workers. As we grow, you will help shape how we work and strengthen our leadership team. Reporting to the Senior Director for the Nordic Constellation, you will collaborate across constellations, combining hands‑on project delivery with people management.

What You Will Bring

You bring solid experience leading software or IT projects using agile methods and enjoy combining project delivery with managing and developing employees. You have people management experience with formal responsibility for employees, including coaching, motivation and development, and can influence people both within and outside the organisation. You take ownership and are ready to grow your responsibilities as you deliver results.

We are also looking for:

• A relevant degree in IT, software or a related field, preferably at master's level.
• Experience working directly with customers and other stakeholders - experience in defence or a similar industry is a clear advantage.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
• Project management certification, such as PMI, PRINCE2 or IPMA Level B/C, and Scrum or ITIL certification backed by practical experience - these are an advantage, but not a requirement.
• A decisive, results‑driven mindset combined with an analytical, structured approach, and the ability to engage customers, end‑users, senior management and your team to deliver projects within budget, on schedule and to the required quality standards.
• A collaborative colleague who contributes to both achieving results and fostering a positive team culture.

that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security‑classified projects.
