Join Omni Capabilitiesas our Project ManagerAalborg
About the roleOmni Capabilities is a defence scale-up based in Aalborg, developing and delivering advanced defence capabilities through a focused portfolio of four products. We operate at the intersection of emerging technology and missioncritical operations — building solutions that address real capability gaps across defence and security domains. We are a lean, ambitious team with a flat structure where initiative, ownership, and curiosity are valued as highly as technical credentials. As we transition from early-stage product development to scaled delivery and customer deployment, we are looking for a Project Manager who can bring structure, momentum, and disciplined execution to our growing portfolioAs Project Manager at Omni Capabilities, you will own the delivery of product programmes from development through to customer handover. You will work at the centre of a cross-functional team — bridging engineering, domain expertise, and client stakeholders — to ensure our products are delivered on time, on scope, and to the standards our defence customers demand. This is not a back-office administrator role. You will be expected to understand the technical and operational context of our products, run project rhythms that keep teams aligned, and maintain the client relationships that turn initial contracts into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Programme Delivery: Plan, execute, and close projects across Omni's product portfolio, ensuring alignment with customerrequirements, delivery milestones, and budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary client interface throughout the project lifecycle — managing expectations, communicating progress, negotiating scope changes, and building trust.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Orchestrate internal resources across engineering, domain specialists, and leadership to keep concurrent workstreams on track.
- Risk & Issue Management: Maintain a proactive risk posture — identify delivery threats early, assess impact, and drive mitigations before they become problems.
- Project Governance: Own status reporting, milestone gate reviews, and post-delivery evaluations for both internal leadership and external customers.
- Delivery Process: Contribute to building Omni's project management framework — defining the tools, cadences, and standards that will scale with the company.
- Proposal & Bid Support: Provide delivery plans, resource estimates, and project methodology input to support business development and tendering activity.
About You
- A minumum of 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally within defence product development, technology consulting, or similarly complexdelivery environments.
- Relevant education and/or project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent product delivery streams
- Strong stakeholder management skills - comfortable communicating with engineers, commercial teams, and defence customerrepresentatives alike.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Danish and English
Who You Are
- A driver, not just a coordinator: You don't wait for things to happen — you create the conditions for progress and hold people accountable to outcomes.
- Calm under pressure: Defence delivery comes with hard deadlines, shifting requirements, and high expectations. You stay steady and solution-focused.
- Translator, not just reporter: You can bridge the gap between an engineer's technical explanation and a customer's operational concern —without losing meaning on either side.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: You work in an environment where requirements evolve and not every process is pre-built. You know how to structure the unstructured.
- Curious about the mission: You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to care enough about what our products do to ask the right questions and make informed decisions.
- A team player with standards: You collaborate generously, but you also set clear expectations and have the courage to challenge when quality or timelines are at risk.
What we offer
- Impact at scale-up pace: As part of a small, growing defence company, your work will directly shape how we deliver, how we build customer trust, and how we scale as an organisation.
- Real products, real missions: You will manage the delivery of products that defence customers rely on. The stakes are genuine, and so is the sense of purpose.
- Competitive compensation: Salary commensurate with experience, plus pension and benefits.
We review applications on an ongoing basis and aim to fill the position in September or October2026.
