Job description

Job Description

Successful projects are not delivered by one function alone. They depend on bringing together customers, engineers, manufacturing teams, supply chain, quality, finance, and other specialists around the same priorities. As a Project Manager in NOV’s Subsea Production Systems (SPS) business, you will be the person who makes that happen.

You will lead complex international customer projects from contract handover through execution and close-out, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements and NOV’s business objectives.

Working in a matrix organization, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other supporting functions. As these teams will not report directly to you, your ability to communicate effectively, build alignment, and influence across functions will be key to your success.

You will also serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution. We are looking for a Project Manager who is self-motivated, commercially aware, and confident taking ownership while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.

About NOV

NOV is a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced flexible pipe systems for demanding offshore energy applications. With manufacturing facilities in Denmark and Brazil and a global engineering and project organization, we combine technical expertise, manufacturing excellence, and disciplined project execution to deliver high-quality solutions to customers around the world.

What We Offer

The opportunity to lead complex international customer projects from contract handover through successful delivery and close-out. Exposure to advanced flexible pipe technology and challenging offshore energy projects. A collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where you will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other functions. Support and mentoring from experienced Project Managers as you develop your knowledge of NOV SPS products, processes, and customers. Direct interaction with international customers and opportunities to strengthen your commercial, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. Professional development and career progression opportunities within Project Management and the wider NOV organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead customer projects through all phases of execution, from contract handover to project close-out.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, opportunities, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute project strategies that balance customer expectations, contractual commitments, commercial performance, and NOV business objectives.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other supporting functions.
  • Build trusted customer relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout project execution.
  • Drive collaboration and resource alignment across a matrix organization, influencing stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
  • Drive project performance, provide accurate reporting, and implement corrective or recovery actions when required.
  • Manage commercial and contractual activities, including forecasting, variation orders, claims, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects are executed in accordance with NOV’s quality and HSE requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the Project Management organization.
  • Travel internationally as required to support customers and project execution.
