Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Project Manager within the Licensing & Extended Line organisation to drive consumer product projects from idea to launch. You will own end-to-end planning, governance, and risk management while aligning business aims with supply chain excellence across a global stakeholder network.

You will lead cross-functional teams across time zones, deliver transparent plans, optimise ways of working, and ensure on-time launches.

About the role As our Project Manager, you'll play a vital part in driving consumer products and experiences from idea to launch balancing business ambitions, innovation, and value chain excellence across a global stakeholder landscape. As the Project Manager, you'll have responsibility for creating clarity and momentum across the project team. You'll own end‑to‑end project planning, risk management and governance, while continuously looking for opportunities to optimise processes and ways of working. Working across the LEGO® Group’s Licensing & Extended Line organisation, you'll collaborate with a diverse global stakeholder network to keep projects progressing through critical milestones. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position. Some flexibility in working hours will be required due to the global nature of the role.

Required Qualifications

• Strong Project Management toolbox and craftmanship e.g. building strong project plans & excellent risk management to drive proactivity
• Proven experience leading novelty product development projects
• Resilient mindset with a demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks and find alternative pathways to achieve objectives
• Strong team leadership skills to ensure a highly motivated team with clear direction & priorities
• Collaborated with global teams across multiple functions and time zones
• Self-driven with a positive, proactive and analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to engage at all organizational levels and with cross functional colleagues
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed a recognised project management certification such as SCRUM Master, IPMA, PMI, or PRINCE2
• Understanding of supply chain management, operations, planning, or procurement
• Worked within physical product development environments

Core Responsibilities

• Planning & progress management: Responsible for E2E planning and adjustment of plans where needed
• Daily (informal) team leadership: Ensure progress, clarity in priorities and roles and secure a high performing and motivated team
• Risk Management: Lead risk management and assessment across both feasibility, desirability, and viability and secure mitigation activities through project lifetime with a full E2E value chain perspective.
• Own quality management activities and play a key role in managing project complexity
• Ways of Working: Responsible for setting up, implementing and improving ways‑of‑working to drive efficiency of a global team in different time zones e.g. meeting structure, workshops and continuous improvement on processes
• Cost management, resourcing & project budgets: Responsible for managing project budgets and resources for products. Facilitate trade‑off dialogues, requests and cost recommendations. Drive governance meetings e.g. gate meetings, project updates and reporting

Life on the team

The LEGO Group’s Licensing & Extended Line (LEL) department is responsible for growing our unique reach with consumers and deepening engagement through extended line and licensed products. As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for strategy deployment, project planning, resource and budget management, process optimization, ways of working, and securing overall project progress to meet critical milestones. You will lead projects across LEL and in collaboration with other parts of the LEGO Group. You'll join the Project Management & Portfolio Enabling team within Licensing & Extended Line – a team who make things happen. We drive projects forward, bring people together, create structure in complexity, and keep momentum when things get challenging. At the same time, we create transparency and overview across our project portfolio and help enable the wider organisation to succeed. We believe that a good laugh, a bit of humour, and having fun along the way are just as important as delivering great results.

What success looks like

Success means driving projects forward while enabling strong collaboration across the value chain. You'll work closely with colleagues across e.g. design, packaging engineering, graphics, marketing, and other specialist functions to deliver successful launches and continue strengthening how projects are planned and executed across the organisation.
