Maersk in Denmark is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder Project Associate (Aid & Relief) to join our Project Logistics team in Aarhus or Copenhagen. You will manage end-to-end logistics projects, coordinating air, sea, and road transports while engaging with international stakeholders to deliver mission-critical supply chains.

The role offers exposure to complex projects, collaboration with global teams, and opportunities to design innovative logistics solutions for Aid & Relief customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aid & Relief logistics is essential.
• Proven track record in freight forwarding and project delivery.
• Strong project management capabilities with a history of successful execution.

The Opportunity

As a Project Associate (Aid & Relief), you will be responsible for managing logistics projects on behalf of our customers, ensuring seamless transport execution and outstanding service delivery.

You will play a key role in building a new team handling a new customer win. You will be coordinating everything from quoting/solution design to operating the shipment, within different transport modes, as air, sea & road.

This position offers significant exposure to international stakeholders, complex logistics challenges, and strategic customer engagements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage end-to-end logistics projects for customers across Aid & Relief.
• Coordinate the transportation of equipment across ocean, air, and land modes.
• Capture and analyse project requirements to develop tailored logistics solutions.
• Support planning, costing, pricing, and proposal development activities.
• Lead project execution to ensure successful delivery against customer requirements.
• Create and optimize process flows for critical operational activities.
• Manage smaller tender processes and help secure competitive, commercially attractive solutions.
• Conduct site visits and engage local stakeholders to gather insights and support execution.
• Develop innovative logistics concepts and value-added service offerings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the global Maersk network.
