Job summary

Semco Maritime seeks an experienced offshore operator for Esbjerg, Denmark. The role requires day and night shifts rotated with offshore trips, 12 hour shifts, and involvement in required courses during home periods. Start date ASAP.

You will operate facilities daily, perform initial maintenance, and act as Area Authority, ensuring safety, permit-to-work compliance, and proper risk controls before any work begins. English communication is essential, Danish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Good analytical skills, structured and able to follow instructions closely.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Danish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facilities on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure operations are executed within operating scope and in accordance with company rules and procedures.
• Perform the first degree of maintenance.
• Act as Area Authority, opening at location permit to work (final checks, TBT, Hazard identification, permit to work compliance etc.).
• Conduct the daily rounds to monitor the facilities, log data, check integrity threats, check safe operation of third parties
• Prepare and execute isolations and breaking containment verifying and ensuring safety before any work is released
• Perform gas, NORM and other testing required to verify equipment is safe to work on for other teams
• Perform random audits on working locations
• Coordinate the daily production team activities

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Educational background as process technician, skilled craftsman or similar with craftsman diploma
• 5 years of experience with process, preferably from oil and gas industry
• Preferably former work experience as Production Operator
• Good analytical skills, structured and able to follow instructions closely
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Danish is an advantage.
