Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Join Danfoss in Silkeborg and take ownership of our environmental performance in a highly automated production site. In this role, you will take ownership of our state of the art nickel‑plating surface treatment line and wastewater treatment equipment while also acting as a key specialist for environmental compliance, permits, legislation, and site‑wide environmental performance. You will translate environmental goals into practical, measurable improvements—combining chemical process insight, data analysis, and close collaboration with Production Technology, QEHS, and Operations. Your work directly supports the manufacturing of thermostats and valves used globally, while strengthening compliance and future‑proofing the site’s environmental footprint in a facility committed to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and optimize the nickel‑plating process to ensure reliable, safe, and high‑quality production
• Improve production processes across the site to reduce energy use, emissions, hazardous chemicals, and waste
• Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining permits, documentation, and readiness for audits and authorities

What We're Looking For
