Job summary

ECCO Sko A/S in Denmark invites a detail-oriented regulatory professional to help keep our products safe, compliant and trusted worldwide. From our Tønder headquarters you will join the Global Group Responsibility & Sustainability team within Product Compliance.

You will translate complex requirements into practical guidance across the product lifecycle, develop documentation, define labeling and safety controls, and support audits and market surveillance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience in consumer goods product compliance or quality.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret product safety and labelling regulations, assess impact on ECCO products and markets, and lead implementation when requirements change or compliance gaps are identified.
• Maintain product safety requirements, support risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions, and lead investigation working groups.
• Define and maintain requirements for product labelling, product safety, warnings, markings, traceability and consumer information.
• Develop procedures, standards and compliance documentation, define testing requirements, coordinate verification activities and review technical results.
• Maintain technical documentation and support audits, authority requests, compliance reviews and market surveillance activities.

In this role, you will help ECCO stay ahead of regulatory developments while supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and durable products.

Help us stay one step ahead of evolving regulations

From our headquarters in Tønder, you will be part of our Global Group Responsibility & Sustainability department within our Product Compliance Division.

You will work closely with a team of compliance specialists and a broad network of stakeholders across the organisation, including our Group Director, Senior Chemical Compliance Specialist, Traceability Product Compliance Specialist and colleagues within design, product development, production and quality teams.

You will help ensure that ECCO products meet regulatory and company requirements across markets. You will translate complex requirements into practical guidance for teams across the product lifecycle and contribute to the continuous development of ECCO’s compliance framework.

More specifically, you will:

• Monitor and interpret product safety and labelling regulations, assess their impact on ECCO products and markets, and lead implementation when requirements change or compliance gaps are identified

You have an eye for detail

As a person, you bring solid organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills - with high accuracy and attention to detail and documentation. You also have the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

• Have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in consumer goods product compliance or quality
• Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, law or regulatory affairs
• Speak and write English effortlessly
