Job summary

EG Silkeborg Data is seeking a Product Owner to own the backlog and prioritise value for Danish municipalities and regions. You will bridge customers, stakeholders, and the development team to deliver payroll and workforce planning solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure backlog clarity, and drive agile delivery in a fast-paced public-sector domain. This role is based in Skejby near Aarhus, with opportunities to influence AI-driven product development.

Qualifications

Have a degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of the Danish public sector, payroll, or workforce planning is advantageous.
Experience with integrations across systems and AI in product development.
Track record of releases that meet real customer needs.

Responsibilities

Own the product backlog, prioritise value, and align the team with stakeholder priorities.
Act as the main contact for stakeholders and coordinate with the development team and Product Manager.
Create and maintain a clear, transparent backlog, translating needs into requirements.
Accept delivered features with QA and ensure delivery quality.
Decide where AI adds value with a clear commercial and customer focus.
