EG Silkeborg Data, part of the EG Group, seeks a Product Owner to own and prioritise the backlog for payroll and workforce planning products. You will bridge customers, stakeholders, and the development team, ensuring clear requirements and timely delivery.
Based in Skejby near Aarhus, you will collaborate across Denmark and Poland, with room to grow into more senior roles and a strong focus on AI-enabled product development.
Do you want to help develop tomorrow's payroll and workforce solutions for the Danish public sector? Are you a technology-minded Product Owner who thrives at the intersection of customer needs, agile delivery, and complex domain logic?
Then you might be our new Product Owner!
EG Silkeborg Data is part of the EG Group. We develop software solutions for the public sector, primarily municipalities, regions, and hospitals. We are experts in payroll and workforce planning with deep digital insight and strong competencies, delivering stable solutions with high professional standards, ensuring correct payroll, optimal shift schedules, and flexible systems 24/7.
You will join Team TID within the PRF (Payroll, Rostering and Finance) division, which owns SD Løn, ØS Indsigt, Optima, and EG Altiplan, products that are central to how Danish municipalities and regions run payroll and workforce planning. Team TID is responsible for time registrations coming in from various sources, and the team has colleagues in both Denmark and Poland. As Product Owner, you will act as the bridge between customers, stakeholders, and the development team. You will report to Senior Manager, Michael Haahr Troelsen, who leads 18 employees across three teams. The role is based in Skejby, near Aarhus.
As Product Owner, you own the product backlog, ensuring it is continuously prioritised, refined, and clearly defined to guide development team efforts and reflect stakeholder priorities. You act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, balancing competing needs and resolving conflicts, while partnering with the development team and Product Manager to align the product vision with delivery goals.
Have a degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is an advantage, along with knowledge of the Danish public sector, payroll, or workforce planning. Experience with integrations across systems, hands‑on use of AI in product development, or a track record of releases that consistently met real customer needs will help you stand out.
