Job summary

Blue Water Shipping seeks a Product Owner for HR Platforms to shape, prioritize and develop our HR systems. You will collaborate with People & Culture, leaders and IT to create value for employees and leaders while driving standardization, automation and AI-enabled improvements.

You will own the roadmap, backlog and prioritization, challenge complexity, and translate business needs into practical product priorities. The role offers influence across HR tech and a modern, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Experience as Product Owner or similar role in HR/People & Culture tech.
Ability to translate business needs into product priorities and roadmaps.
Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge requirements and drive change.
Experience with standardization, automation and digital process improvement.
Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies to simplify processes and user experience.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for HR platforms.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities with People & Culture and end-users.
Drive standardization and simplification of people processes before IT changes.
Translate business needs into clear product priorities, user needs and solutions.
Facilitate roadmap prioritization across stakeholders with transparent trade-offs.
Ensure strong stakeholder engagement, adoption and continuous improvement.
Build partnerships across People & Culture, IT and end-users to align priorities.
Collaborate with vendors and implementation partners for successful delivery.
