Job summary

Alfa Laval in Søborg is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to ensure our membrane products meet regulatory, legal, and industry requirements across markets.

You will work with R&D, Operations, Quality, and sourcing to translate complex regulations into clear actions, lead compliance projects, and guide teams. The role supports a hybrid work model with some travel, and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in product compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Master’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or mechanical engineering (PhD a plus).
• Experience with product testing, certification, and approvals across markets.
• Experience coordinating compliance projects across stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of FCM regulations (EU/USA/China/Japan), REACH, CE, RoHS, USDA.
• Pharma requirements knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the membrane industry is an advantage.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance strategies for new and existing products.
• Monitor legislation, standards, and regulatory developments and assess impact.
• Identify compliance risks and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate product testing, certification, and approvals.
• Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (certificates, declarations, technical files).
• Ensure products meet requirements to enter and stay in target markets.
• Provide guidance to teams across the organization on compliance.
• Work with regulatory authorities, labs, certification bodies, and customers.
• Lead compliance-related projects to strengthen processes.
