Job summary

DFDS Copenhagen HQ invites interns to join our Procurement Technology, Sustainability & Operations team. You will gain hands-on exposure to three interconnected areas: procurement tech, ESG initiatives, and operations supporting RoRo/RoPax vessels.

You will work on automating processes, engaging suppliers on ESG efforts, and supporting e-sourcing strategies, with an international, diverse team and a September 2027 start.

• Studying BSc International Shipping & Trade at Copenhagen Business School, ready to intern from September 2027

• Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in your work
• Confident using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Curious about AI and eager to use it in your work

Responsibilities

• Investigate new procurement technologies and platforms
• Initiate dialogue with suppliers regarding ESG initiatives
• Work on automating business processes and establishing supplier integrations
• Change management activities, and business improvement projects
• Supplier engagement, dialogue, sourcing and negotiation
• Support to Category Manager and Sourcing Manager in e-sourcing and e-auction strategy
