DFDS is offering an internship in Copenhagen to shape the Freight Digital Customer Journey. You will work across Self-Service, Contact Center Platform, and Control Tower pillars to support transformation initiatives within Global Freight Customer Service.
You will gain hands-on exposure to large-scale business changes, digital product development, and data-driven decision making in an international setting. CBS students are encouraged to apply for a September 2027 start.
Do you study International Shipping & Trade at Copenhagen Business School, and are you looking for an internship where you can set direction and create valuable impact? Join us to help shape the future of digital freight through innovative projects in a dynamic international company.
In this role, you will support key initiatives within the transformation of the digital customer journey for our Global Freight Customer Service organisation at DFDS. Our ambition is clear: by 2030, we want to deliver a seamless, digital, and standardised set-up that makes it easy to be a customer and easy to interact with customers across all freight touchpoints.
To achieve this, our Customer Service transformation is built on three strategic pillars:
Building a one-stop-shop where customers can book and track units throughout the entire journey and across transport modalities.
Creating an interaction platform that enables Customer Service teams to engage with customers efficiently when support is needed, supported by a knowledge base that enhances the overall customer experience.
Developing our internal platform for managing customer bookings, providing Customer Service with a more seamless and standardised way of handling bookings and tracking units across the DFDS network.
As an intern, you will work across all three pillars, supporting and driving the planning, coordination, and delivery of transformation initiatives. You will gain exposure to business and technology stakeholders and help ensure that projects move forward efficiently while creating value for our Customer Service organisation and customers.
You will gain hands‑on experience with large‑scale business transformation, digital product development, process improvement, and change management in an international organisation.
You will play an important supporting role in our Customer Service transformation by helping teams stay aligned, ensuring key activities are coordinated effectively, and contributing to the successful adoption of new digital solutions and ways of working across the organisation.
Are you eager to deepen your knowledge in the field of digital freight, and do you have a strong work ethic and passion for learning? Then this internship is for you!
