Job summary

Imerys Denmark is seeking a Process Engineer and Continuous Improvement Coordinator to lead process optimization and operational excellence across Fur and Mors. You will drive energy efficiency (ISO 50001 / CO2 reduction), yield improvements, and empower the workforce with continuous improvement tools and change management.

The role reports to the Site Manager Denmark and requires a MSc in a related field, 3+ years of industrial experience, and fluent Danish and English.

Qualifications

MSc degree in Process, Industrial, Chemical, or Mining Engineering (or equivalent).
3+ years in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in mass/energy balances and mineral/chemical processing.
Lean/CI tools knowledge (Kaizen, Six Sigma, VSM); Green Belt is a plus.
Fluent Danish and English.

Responsibilities

Lead process optimization and yield initiatives for kiln and packaging areas; optimize mass/energy balances and lead trials.
Coordinate and sustain the I-Cube OpEx program across Mors and Fur, driving 5S, VSM, and cost-saving projects.
Promote a safe working culture and lead energy efficiency and emissions-reduction programs.
Develop SOPs, coach shop-floor teams, and foster a strong continuous-improvement culture.
