Job summary

Clinical Ink is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the Disease Management platform from Denmark and the United States. As the most senior IC on the platform, you set technical direction, own architecture across repos, and drive reliability and production quality.

You will author contracts from intended use to design, manage infrastructure (IaC, AWS), observability (SLOs, tracing), and guide teams with AI-augmented workflows while collaborating with regulatory and clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep backend engineering experience with Python/FastAPI.
• Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
• Ownership of production reliability; IaC with Terraform/AWS.
• Strong technical writing and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend and platform architecture: service boundaries and data flow.
• Own the infrastructure and production‑reliability backbone: IaC, AWS, CI/CD.
• Set observability bar: SLOs/SLIs, traces, and logs.
• Drive architectural decisions with safety/compliance in mind.
• Collaborate with regulatory/clinical stakeholders to map intent to buildable plans.
