Aleta, headquartered in Aarhus, is seeking an AI-First Platform Engineer to keep the WealthTech platform running at scale. You'll own incident response, ingestion pipelines, and the reliability of complex data flows.
Working with the founders and the technical lead, you’ll shape architecture, review agent outputs, and ensure data integrity from banks and custodians every night.
Would you enjoy keeping the WealthTech platform behind DKK 100 billion in assets running? - then this might be the role for you!
On behalf of our client Aleta, we are looking for a technically ambitious and AI-First Platform Engineer to keep the platform running.
The company Aleta is a wealth intelligence platform headquartered in central Aarhus for family offices and their advisors. They consolidate data across banks, custodians, asset classes and entity structures, and turn it into reporting that owners use. They have an established business, strong revenue growth and offices in Aarhus, New York and Bangkok.
Most of their code is now written by AI agents. That hasn't removed the engineering work — it has moved it. Knowing whether the service is correct, and keeping it alive at three in the morning, is not. That second part is this job.
Rebuilt from scratch with TypeScript and Next.js on the application layer, Rust for the calculation engine, Postgres on Neon, WorkOS for auth, fully serverless. No legacy systems to work around.
Every night it ingests data from banks and custodians, runs the calculations, and produces reports that have to be right by morning. When that chain breaks, someone has to find out why — quickly.
You'll work alongside the founders and the technical lead. On architecture you help shape it, but don't have to own alone.
We care more about what you've learned and what you've owned than the number of years on your CV.
The important checks are:
AI-first isn't a slogan here
It's how the whole company runs. Every task is a written goal with an explicit definition of done, and the rules are files in the repo, not aspirations.
Deliberately small
A few exceptional people with real ownership, rather than a large team with diluted responsibility.
Direct and honest
At Aleta, they argue about the work, openly and without politics — including with the founders.
You'll have direct access to the people making product and technical decisions, and you'll see the impact of your work immediately. With a small team comes real ownership, short feedback loops, and the opportunity to influence both the platform and how engineering is done.
