Schneider Electric in Kolding, Denmark, is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to join our R&D team. The role focuses on sizing protection circuits, conductor sizing, grounding systems, and developing 3-phase UPS and power conversion designs for data centre use cases.

You will work in a dynamic, agile team, contributing to end-to-end product development, documentation, testing, and safety analyses. Travel may be required as part of project activities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with product development and Agile workflows is desirable.
• Knowledge of grounding systems and short circuit protection drawings and diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical components and safety standards.

Mansioni

• Size protection circuits, cables, and grounding systems for UPS and power-conversion applications.
• Develop and sustain electrical design documentation and main circuit diagrams.
• Lead or participate in electrical design reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and qualification documentation.
• Plan and execute design qualification activities and testing.
• Support root-cause investigations and issue resolution across lifecycle.
