Job summary

University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position in spintronic computing. You will design, model, fabricate, and characterize spintronic devices, with emphasis on AMR, GMR, and MTJ technologies, and explore integration into advanced computing systems.

The role involves close collaboration within the SDU Microelectronics group, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and engagement with EU pilot lines and the Danish Chips Competence Center to foster technology

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field completed within the last 6 years.
• Experience in spintronics and magnetic device physics.
• Experience with physics-based modelling or simulation of magnetic/spintronic devices.
• Experience with AMR/GMR/MTJ electrical measurements and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, modelling, and simulation of spintronic devices.
• Fabrication and experimental characterization of spintronic devices.
• Collaborate with Danish Chips CC and EU pilot lines for prototyping.
• Contribute to proposals and funding applications in spintronics.
