Job summary

A postdoctoral researcher position at Aarhus University’s Plant Molecular Biology section invites an ambitious scientist to advance understanding of molecular dialogue between plants and microorganisms. Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Sciences or similar.
• Strong expertise in analyses of biology-related large datasets.
• Experience with single-cell and spatial data analysis is advantageous.
• Cross-species gene mapping experience is advantageous.
• Ability to drive projects independently in international, collaborative settings.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research into molecular and genetic basis of plant–microbe interactions with data integration across species and data types (genomics, transcriptomics).
• Design, adapt and apply deep learning methods for omics data analyses.
• Collaborate with international partners and contribute to joint research efforts.
• Present work at group meetings, conferences, and in high-quality publications.
• Contribute to supervision of MSc and PhD students, fostering an inclusive research environment.
