Job summary

Aarhus University, Department of Biology, seeks a postdoctoral researcher to lead data integration and visualisation work at the Ecoinformatics interface. You will integrate field and sensor data with maps and satellite data to create knowledge graphs and AI-driven insights for landscape research.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Data Science with experience in biology/geography or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in temporal/geospatial analyses of ecological patterns.
  • Experience in developing new methodological approaches.
  • Strong skills in AI/ML methods and analysing land-use data.
  • Ability to handle large geospatial datasets from diverse sources.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise and synthesize data integration and visualisation workflows.
  • Develop knowledge graphs and manage data pipelines.
  • Apply AI/ML methods to ecological data and dashboards.
