Job summary

Aarhus University’s Department of Management invites applications for a 24-month postdoctoral position starting in 2027. The project focuses on consumer-citizen acceptance, market positioning and societal relevance of fermented plant-based foods.

The successful candidate will design and implement consumer studies, develop online experiments, and contribute to data analysis, publications and collaboration with partners. Teaching assignments may occur.

Qualifications

• PhD in management-related field (consumer behavior, marketing, sustainable consumption, behavioral science, etc.).
• Experience in consumer research, survey design and online experiments is preferred.
• Proven ability in quantitative data analysis and willingness-to-pay/segmentation methods.
• Strong academic writing and publication record; collaboration in international research environments.
• Excellent English written and spoken skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, data collection and analysis of consumer studies on fermented plant-based foods.
• Develop online consumer and sensory studies including concept design and survey materials.
• Support in-person consumer testing and analysis of market trends and societal positioning.
• Prepare deliverables and academic articles; collaborate with national and international partners.
