Job summary

DTU - Technical University of Denmark is seeking a postdoc in the Embedded Systems Engineering (ESE) section to serve as the software-systems integrator for the AEGIS network. You will define a shared interface schema, develop a Python-based co-simulation framework, and connect partner models through adapters and datasets.

You will collaborate with Prof. Paul Pop and multiple academic and industrial partners, turning project results into publications while supporting AEGIS administration for

Qualifications

  • PhD in computer science or related field required; software-systems focus.
  • Strong software engineering: design APIs, schemas, and integrate components.
  • Experience with co-simulation, FMI/Modelica, or energy-system modeling is a plus.
  • Ability to turn input from several contributors into coherent papers or architecture documents.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the AEGIS interface schema and shared repository.
  • Build and maintain the AEGIS co-simulation framework in Python.
  • Package benchmarks and datasets as versioned artifacts and run integration sprints.
  • Lead and co-author cross-cutting publications and architecture documents.
  • Co-supervise MSc and PhD students as appropriate.
